$BELL
Not issued yet
A Token-2022 mint with a 2% transfer fee. Every transfer on any venue withholds the fee at the token level; the keeper harvests it to the treasury, and treasury revenue buys $BELL on the market for stakers.

The mint has not been created. Supply, harvested fees and buybacks appear here once it is live. Distribution and allocations are still being worked out with counsel.
Staking
Checking
Staked $BELL earns the protocol’s share of every premium in USDC, plus everything the treasury buys back on the market and hands to the pool.
Open staking$BELL token spec
- Standard: Token-2022 with the TransferFeeConfig extension.
- Supply: fixed at mint; no further minting (mint authority set to null after distribution).
- Transfer fee: 200 bps, maximum fee capped at 0.5% of supply per transfer; fee authority = treasury multisig; withdraw-withheld authority = treasury multisig.
- Exempt accounts: a per-account fee rate of 0 is not possible in Token-2022, so exemptions are implemented by the treasury refunding the withheld amount for transfers where the source or destination is the staking vault PDA or the treasury ATA. The keeper does this in the same harvest cycle.
- Harvest: the keeper runs
harvestWithheldTokensToMintacross holder accounts, thenwithdrawWithheldTokensFromMintto the treasury ATA, every hour. - Buyback: withheld fees are already denominated in $BELL, so they are distributed directly to stakers. USDC treasury revenue (25% of premiums, of which 15% is operations) is what buys $BELL on the open market. Both purchased and harvested $BELL flow to stakers through the staking contract's reward pool.
- Distribution schedule and allocations: TBD with counsel; not issued yet.
